I purchased this graphics card to use with my HTPC. I only have two complaints about this card, and they are pretty minor considering the excellent quality of the video/audio and the price of this card.
Cons:
* If you are putting on the half-height bracket for use in a slimline computer, you will need to remove the VGA adapter. The VGA adapter thumb screws on the full height bracket were so tight I had to use a special screwdriver to remove them (lucky for me I have a little computer repair kit that had the required screwdriver in it).
* After this device is plugged into the computer, it will not recognize the HDMI/DVI ports until you install the drivers (and DirectX if you don't have it already). Also, once installed, the onboard VGA adapter is immediately disabled. As a result, if you installed the half-height bracket and removed the VGA adapter from the HD4350 card, you won't be able to use a display to install the drivers!!! I had to remove the case from the computer, plug the VGA adapter back into the card, and connect my monitor to the VGA adapter while the case was still off. Once I got the drivers installed (which was fairly painless) and verified the HDMI/DVI ports were working, I disconnected the VGA adapter and put the case back on the computer.
