I am a very lucky owner of several JVC headphones The HARX700, HAS600B, HAFX67B airs, And these HAFXC51B..I have to admit my headphone addiction started with a headphone everyone should try out once in their lifetime the Sennheiser HD595..Before this headphone I was happy with the slop that is the throw in earbuds and the like. SO why so many JVC products you may ask? Well. Quite frankly they all kick all sorts of ass when it comes to sound..I am a big fan of music, all kinds of music and if you read some of my other reviews on the other JVC headphones I gave 5 stars on all of em because I praise JVC on the consumer level what they have to offer for the price compared to the competition..And it seems I am not the only one. Look up reviews for these products and you will see what I mean...I do a lot of review reading to see what phones stands out of the crowd and the JVCs consistantly offers to the music lover what they want and need for their hard earned cash. No glitz no glamour, no over hyped Xtra SUPER DUPER BIG BASS on the label or "Audiophile" on the title or anything of the sort.. Case in point. This in ear is SO qualitiy you have no idea. I am loving the sound signature of the JVC phones all of em have a certain quality that one will discover once you hear the the JVCs. This company GETS it they know music, it is obvious their products are made by people who listen to and love music..

This IEM has a clean open full sound that opens up with a dynamic bass definition that is similar to their bigger brother the HAS600B..That in itself makes these little ear buds a technical marvel..The HAS600B is an undiscovered Gem. DO NOT OVERLOOK these because the price of admission on em! The same goes for these IEMs. All 3 products have a balance that a lot of other manufacturers try to achieve but end up short. I suppose headphones are subjective and opinionated as they come but what I hear from not only these in ears but all of their products so far is nothing short of musical greatness for the bux. I haven't wrote a review of my Audio Technica Ad700 yet but to be honest. You would figure with the praise of this Audiophile phone on reviews one would think I would join in that praise. Well I will say it is a nice phone but I actually prefer for the same price as that one. Getting one HAFXC51B in ear for on the go, an HAS600B for a more dynamic fun Bass experience for your MP3s, and for the home one HARX700.. AS you will actually get all 3 for the same price.. AND this is what I mean..All 3 phones total around $88. My Audio Technica Ad700? $92..
Blasphemy!! You say!!. How can some cheaply made JVC products hold its own vs an "Audiophile" AD700?!!
Well my AD700 is sitting collecting dust at the moment let me put it that way...To be fair though I also have in my collection the HD595 which does everything the AD700 tries to do but way better...Don't get me wrong the AD700 is a unique pair of phones and have a quality to it that is different.. But you would figure for the price on those that it would have a Great balance to em..NOPE. Listen to some Metal or hiphop or Trance on the AD700s then listen to the same tunes on the any one of the JVCs.. To be honest the AD700s one falling grace is the lack of any authoritative BASS. Or any in your face type sound for that matter.I am shure guys that either own those or read about em will know what I am talking about. It is like buying a sports car that has 500Hp but with those little doughnut wheels. Or dating a very pretty girl or good looking guy if you are a lady, but with crooked teeth. Something just don't sit right with me on those. The JVCs? What you get is an unexpected Full sound and defined Bass, full mids and very good clear highs. What you get is way more than what you pay for is my point. These HAFXC51Bs are no exception.. Absolutely love em and even that much more cus they didn't cost that much. The overall quality on the JVCs are astounding for the price payed.. I encourage folks that are browsing to find either great sounding headphones for whatever your purposes are and try out any of the JVC products I mentioned in this review. NO I don't work for JVC. I am a huge FAN however and you will be too once you discover any of these..
One last note..ALL JVCs NEED burn in..Take a serious listen after at least 80-100 hours. Happy listening!
