When I got this woofer I tested it in an existing 15" home theater sub box. Even though the woofer did not sit properly in the test box(non air-tight fit) the sub easily out performed my existing Memphis audio 15" sub in dynamics, punchy-ness and bottom end repose. I have since built a 4.5ft^3 box for the sub, using a the bash 300 watt amp and the Precision Port 4" Flared Port Tube Kit. This thing is a monster!!! LFE hits on DVD's actually surprise me with both the punch magnitude and depth!!!
