Another reviewer says if you want better sound buy the Monster Beats, for what, 200.00 ? Anyone looking at these or the other headphones mentioned and trying to make up their mind which one to purchase will make me wonder about them. The person, not the headphones. These are 12 dollars. And for 12 dollars they are spectacular. I am a self proclaimed headphone snob. I don't know how many headphones i have. I am not to big of a snob however as my most expensive are Sennheiser's which list for 250. ( you can find them or the newer model for 150 ) I have 2 pair of Senn's. 2 pair of Jabra's, a pair of inexpensive Sony's and Bose drivers mounted in some Sennheiser's (Bose headband fell apart, Senn's were blown. I call them my Boseheisers or Senn-ose's) . And a couple others sitting on the self waiting for their turn to be used.
I purchased these when in Malaysia just to have a piece of audio gear to bring home as a souvenir. I thought they would be perfect to drop into my laptop bag and have some nice sound on itunes. And they work very very well for that. And for my ipod, and to take a nap in. And on the imac. Yes, they are light on base. Did I mention their 12 dollars ? I am writing this review because i am in the next few minutes going to purchase my second pair. They are comfortable, unless your head is too big for them. I don't know my hat size off hand but i am not a tiny guy (well over 200 pounds ). They fit fine. They have a very pleasant clear sound. The wire band does adjust a little, and I mean a little. I have not worn them for a long extended time. I will say that they are more comfortable than the 150 dollar sony's i sold for 50.00 because they were just so uncomfortable. Yes, the sony's kicked base. I will keep these for a more enjoyable listening experience. And if i need or want better sound and better base I will not compare these to a more expensive headphone. I will just pull one off the shelf and put it on.
I used the title from another reviewer because it is accurate. Sometimes you just have to appreciate what you get for the price. These are a bargain. Paid 25 US for the pair i have on right now as i type this. The sound is clear, for 12 dollars, Five Stars. For 25 dollars, Five Stars.
