This card is currently being used on a 2.16GHz MacBook (2008ish) in a tri-monitor setup. Huge frustration due to the fact that the driver is not on the included install disc nor on their website. It was only discovered after an hour long "hold" telephone support session. Once the driver was installed, the BVUMD3 works like a charm: it integrates right into the "displays" preference pane, colors look good, can playback 720p video, and actions like dragging windows across the screen don't stutter. One thing that doesn't work well is fullscreen video playback from any application or online source (iTunes, Quicktime, YouTube Flash, YouTube HTML5). However, note that this display adapter does seem to be 100% discrete -- the other two monitors perform just as well with the adapter as they did previously (ie: I can still do full screen on the laptop screen and 2nd monitor connected to the "DVI Out").
I've only been using this for about a day so I cannot comment on it's longevity.
