I have to say that I am the ultimate Asus fan because I am upgrading from my previous asus laptop that I had absolutely no problems for just over 2 years. Considering that I am a heavy user and that I broke my other xps laptop within 3 months that's a lot to say. The first thing I noticed when i opened up this laptop was that it is an LED screen, so I it is a pretty good screen and is not stated in the Amazon website. After using the product I noticed that there is a pretty neat gadget that measures the speed of the processor, and because of all of the multitasking that I was doing it measured my computer at 2.93GHz, so the clock speed of the actual computer can go faster than what mentioned in amazon. Overall, the specks of the computer are better than what mentioned in amazon and the computer has been very reliable and fast. I very well recommend this laptop for those who are looking to buy one and are on a budget. You cant find many laptops who have a very powerful and important 1GB ati graphics card with the combination of this processor for the price. The design is nice and grows on you. The laptop doesn't get to hot considering its specks and I cant say much about the battery life since I usually have it plugged in. A+++
