(More customer reviews)I am a fan of Logitech, I almost use exclusively Logitech products. I am now using MX Revolution on my primary computer. And for my ThinkPad, I purchased a new Logitech M705 (the Marathon Mouse) as soon as it comes out. However, the middle button on the Marathon mouse is hard to press, and using it for loger time (over 3 hrs), my wrist hurts. It's not as comfortable as the MX Revolution. The size of M705 is prefect for laptops, and I do love the long battery run time and tiny wireless receiver, however, as a heavy AutoCAD user, comfort is the top priority. So I want a comfortable mouse at the same size of the M705. And, I only consider ergonomics designs, I mean, not those symmetry ones. There aren't many options available for my demand. At first, I don't believe this cheap alternative be better than the high-end logitech (the Logitech one costs $49.99), however, after using it for a couple of days, I found that it's more than prefect! light weight, elegant design, great feeling on the matt surface (feels similar to my ThinkPad front cover), reliable.. most importantly, it "FIT"s my hand. The reason of not buying the wireless version, is that the receiver is fairly large, and the weight is heavy (because you need to put a battery inside). So, if you need:
* light weight
* Ergonomics design, comfort
* Cheap
* Mid-size
* You use the middle button a lot (such as using AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc)
* works perfectly with MacOS (update Feb-10-2011: the forward and backward does NOT work under MacOS)
