(More customer reviews)I had originally purchased the DB series 6x9 speaker and after installing a Polk PA500.4 amplifier decided I should upgrade the speakers a bit. Actually right after I bought the DB's I regretted not buying the MM's as the price difference was not that significant.
After installing them, which took no time if you have installed speakers before, I fired them up and was immediately impressed. The sound is much fuller, and the highs are quite as harsh as they were with the DB's. The lows sound great and overall the sound quality is spectacular. Also these speakers do come with a crossover for the tweeter and woofer, so that will have to be mounted too. I just took some double sided scotch sticky pads and stuck those to the back and mounted them on the frame of the car. That way nothing is permanent! My only complaint is the speaker wire on the cross over is short, around 3 to 4 ft for everything so sadly amp system doesn't look as clean due to the wires hanging next to it. Not a big deal though.
Overall I am very pleased. I cant wait to get the MM6501 components for up front!!!!
