(More customer reviews)Everybody recommends the ATH-M40fs phones in this series. So I bought a pair, and it's true: they're very comfortable and they sound great. However, they're not terribly portable, because they don't fold up. And they only come with a 1/4" connector. I got a clumsy adapter that didn't work particularly well with my laptop.
The ATH-M35 is a better set of cans. They folds up and come with a drawstring bag. The plug is 1/8", and a nice screw-on 1/4" adapter is included. The sound is great. Basically, these are just like the Sony MDR-7506 phones at half the price. Excellent product.
