(More customer reviews)I primarily use these with my Sansa Clip+ or USB DAC/Amp hooked to my computer.
Out of the box I wasn't sure if I enjoyed the sound of these earphones, but after listening to them for over an hour, I began to enjoy their sound signature more and more.
If I had to compare these to other headphones I've used, the sound signature closest resembles that of Grados.
Highs are more forward than other earphones I've used (Triple.fi 10, Westone 3). I guess it wouldn't be fair to compare the M11's with $250+ earphones; nonetheless, I think that the M11's sound great even compared to the higher-end in-ears. M11s give off a crisp sound, cymbals in rock songs can be heard very clearly. Soundstage is there, although not as refined like that of the Triple.fi 10s or Westone 3s.
Overall, I am very pleased with these earphones, for the price I paid at $30, I do not regret the buy. The different tips and small form factor of the M11s make these very comfortable. Certain earphones like the JBuds cannot be inserted as deeply into my ear canal without feeling discomfort.
